CINNAMON CHIP SNICKERDOODLES

Whether they’re for a cookie exchange, to leave out for Santa, or to share with guests throughout the holiday season, these easy to prepare cookies are a timely treat. You can use white morsels in place of cinnamon chips, if desired.

Ingredients :

 

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips

 

Method :

 

Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir with a wooden spoon until mixed. Stir in cinnamon chips. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until centers are almost set, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
